Excel file keeps growing larger in size with the usage mainly when you start adding a number of shapes and formatting.

If your Excel crashes when opening file from network then immediately copy or move your file to a local drive.I have tried opening Excel in Safe Mode and the program runs smoothly as it did prior to the OS update.
